Benefits of Membership
1
Fellowship
Connecting with other churches allows pastors, leaders, and congregants to be encouraged by other believers who share a common Gospel mission.
2
Resources & Support
The Northeast Fellowship provides member churches with ecclesiastical, pastoral, consultative, financial, and other resources for health and growth.
3
A Shared Mission
Joining with other regional churches will expand the impact of your church's ministry. Coordinating with other churches creates greater influence.

And they exceeded our expectations: They gave themselves first of all to the Lord, and then by the will of God also to us.

- 2 Corinthians 8:5
Expectations of Member Churches
The Northeast Fellowship encourages and expects active participation from its member churches. This takes a variety of forms including:

OCTOBER GATHERING
The primary ministry gathering of each year takes place in October. This event has taken different forms and audiences. In 2025, the October gathering will be a retreat for our pastors at the Trinity Retreat Center in West Cornwall, CT. CLICK HERE for more information.

ANNUAL MEETING & SPECIAL MEETINGS
The central business meeting of the Northeast Fellowship takes place each May at one of our member churches. Three delegates from each church can vote on the adoption of our annual budget and other Fellowship matters. In addition to the business, it is a fun community event, where relationships are established and renewed. Infrequent special meetings - with the same delegate representation - take place as needs arise.

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
One representative from each member church participates on our Executive Committee which represents the interests of the Northeast Fellowship between annual and special meetings. Currently, these meetings occur eight times per year, take place on Zoom, and last one to one and a half hours.

STANDING & AD HOC COMMITTEES
Various committees made up of member church volunteers are deployed to execute the ministry of the Fellowship throughout the year. The current committees include, Personnel, Nomination, Bylaws, Hurting Churches Fund, October Retreat, and Investment Review.
FAQs
How do we join?
Churches interested in joining the Northeast Fellowship can contact Rev. Dan Dzikowicz, our Executive Director (dan@nefellowship.org | 978-387-8882), to discuss and to request an application. Churches are then voted into the Fellowship at our Annual Meeting in May.

Does it cost anything?
We encourage churches to financially support the Northeast Fellowship as participants and beneficiaries. However, no specific yearly amount is proscribed or mandatory.

Where are you theologically?
As our name implies, we are a Christian organization. However, as Congregational churches are free to articulate their commitments in any way they see fit, the Northeast Fellowship does not make theological statements or take theological stands. As a result, conservative, centrist, and progressive churches are equally invited and welcome to join.
Are you part of the NACCC?
While we have a historic and ongoing relationship of mutual support with the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches and share in its mission, we are a separate organization. Below is from the NACCC website, where we are listed as a regional association.

The NACCC encourages you and your church to become involved with your state or regional association. State and regional associations are groups organized in different parts of the country that may share in the mission of the NACCC. Each association is completely independent from the NACCC and provides resources, encouragement, and support for member churches and their leaders.

Can you help us find a pastor?
The Northeast Fellowship is a relational network which may be helpful to your church if it is searching for a new minister. Also, our Executive Director can come alongside your church's search team to help you clarify your needs and connect you to the appropriate search resources.
