Time & Location

Grace Congregational Church, 110 South Rd, Farmington, CT 06032, USA
About The Event
Who are you trying to reach and serve?
How will they connect to your church?
What is your plan for spiritual formation?
How will you train the necessary leaders?
This workshop is for boards, pastors, and other key leaders in your church. The focus will be on building two types of strategy for your church 1) Programmatic Strategy; and 2) General Strategy. Your work will not be done when this workshop is over. This workshop will simply get you re-started.
Cost:
This is a free workshop. Donations are welcome to offset lunch costs but are not required.
Schedule/Lunch:
See schedule below. Lunch will be served at 12:15pm. Please note any dietary restrictions on the registration form.
Registration is limited:
Workshop size is limited to six (6) churches. This allows for more focused conversation and is the max number of tables that will fit comfortably in Grace Farmington's sanctuary.
If the workshop fills up before you register, no worries, if there is interest, I can run this workshop again in the spring. Or I can offer it specifically for your church leadership team at a future date. Let me know (Dan, dan@nefellowship.org).
A limited number of pastors who would like to observe without bringing a board/team will be welcome (contact Dan separately), but the workshop will be designed for boards/teams.
Prerequisites:
1) Your church has to have a mission or purpose statement (or similar) or is able to create one by 1/24/26. It doesn't have to be perfect or finalized, just something that we can hit the ground running with at the workshop.
2) You must come as a team. 3 people minimum - 6 people maximum. These should be key leaders and/or thinkers from your congregation.
3) Your lead/senior pastor must be one of the attendees.
